The Trail Dogs
Maze
Breed: Red Fox Labrador Retriever
Title: Head of Quality Control & Senior Nap Consultant
Maze is the undisputed princess of the household and a red fox Lab with a heart of gold and a remarkably gentle demeanor. She takes her role as lead trail tester very seriously—provided there is a cozy blanket, a warm fire, or a sunbeam waiting when the trek is over. Calm, regal, and built for the long haul, Maze sets the standard for everything on the trail.
Nyx
Breed: Black Labrador Retriever
Title: Director of Chaos & Field Operations
Named after the Goddess of Darkness, Nyx arrived two weeks before Christmas with a brand-new collar hanging on the Christmas tree and zero intention of ever being quiet. A high-energy black Lab who literally spins in circles out of pure joy, Nyx believes that every single second of the day is the greatest thing to ever happen. When she isn’t torpedoing through mud puddles on the trail, her favorite pastime is attempting to balance heavy bones on Maze’s back when she’s bored.
